WOOD STEAMING MICROPROCESSOR MEASURING
AND CONTROL UNIT MOD. VAPORWOOD 2000

The measuring and control unit for VAPORWOOD2000 steamers makes the wood steaming cycle completely automatic. The alphanumeric data display and the facility in setting the programmes ensures that the equipment is in line with your needs.

A microprocessor governs the meaurement and control operations. A keyboard on the front-end panel of the device makes data entry easy. It is possible to recall seventeen (17) memorized programmes, display them on the screen and overwrite them if necessary so that they are in keeping with your specific needs.

STEAMING PROGRAMMES:
The VAPORWOOD2000 measuring and control unit has seventeen (17) stored programmes. Fifteen among them have twenty time phases which can be set (from 0 to 99 hours – min. sec) and termperature (from 0 to 150°C) and two have 73 phases which can be set both as far as temperature and time is concerned. The time (clock) of each phase scales down. The set and cell temperature are displayed continuously on the alphanumeric display.

The programmes can be modified at any time and they are memorized in an EEPROM thus ensuring that even in the case of a power failure no data is lost.

RELAY OUTPUTS:
VAPORWOOD2000 has the possibility of managing the opening and closing of a steam motorized valve by means of temperature control relays. At the start of the programme there is also a relay which remains ON until the steaming process is completed. When the final phase is reached the STOP relay turns on. Once the steaming process has been completed this relay can be used to govern a warning light (stop) or an acoustic signal.

All the relay outputs are highlighted by means of LEDs on the front panel of the unit.

POWER SUPPLY:
220V power supply, protection by means of fuses.

The unit is mounted on a IP65 box with a transparent door for the protection of the control panel. It can also be mounted directly on the wall of the steaming process control room.
